Beatrice H. Susczynski, 90, of Salt Point, passed away thursday, May 10, 2012 at
Victory Lake Nursing Center, Hyde Park.
She was born in Amenia, October 23, 1921, the daughter of Henry Sivertson and Beatrice
Donaldson.
On November 23, 1945, she married Frank Susczynski, Sr., who died July 3, 1992. She
and her husband owned and operated Echo Hill Farm in Salt Point. Mrs. Susczynski resided locally since 1954, and formerly lived in Bethpage, N.Y. She was a member of
the Westminister Presbyterian Church, Salt Point, and the Ladies Home Bureau
in Clinton Corners. She enjoyed knitting, and arts & crafts.
Survivers include her daughter, Irene Gray and her significant other, Lynn Slezak
of Salt Point, her son, Frank Susczynski, Jr., of Salt Point, grandchildren, Jamie E.
Susczynski of Stanfordville, Kristan Marie Bove and her husband Michael of Salt Point,
2 great grandchildren, Noah and Kiera, sisters, Eleanor Baier of Virginia, and Marilyn
Stefko of N. Carolina, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother
Howard Sivertson.
There will be no calling hours.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Salt Point
Cemetery. Rev. Ted Miller will officiate. Arrangements are in charge of the Delehanty
Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls.
