Claire C. Burke-Fiore, 75, of the town of Wappinger, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Brooklyn March 11, 1936, the daughter of Thomas Caslin and Catherine Maloney.
A local resident since 1973, she formerly lived in Amityville, Long Island.
Claire enjoyed ceramics, and was a member of Parents without partners. She formerly was employed at Marist College
in the housing department, retiring many years ago.
On December 2, 2000, she married John J. Fiore. He survives at home.
Other survivors include her daughters, Colleen Willisch and Kenneth, of Carmel, N.Y., Karen Burke-Eadie and Tommy of
Milton, N.Y., a son, Sean Burke and Cathy of Red Hook, N.Y., a step daughter, Dawne’ Moll and Joe, of Colorado Springs, CO.,
a step son John J. Fiore, Jr., and Margaret of Hicksville, N.Y., sisters, Marguerite Moran of Brooklyn, and Martha Kennedy
of New Jersey, grandchildren, Kenneth, Ashley, Cathryn, Patrick, Jake, Sean and Charlotte, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Caslin.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
Funeral services will be held tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial St. Marys Cemetery.
